The teachings of Jesus contain the blueprint for living in such a Way that not only maximizes personal happiness and well-being, but also true happiness and well-being for all. Using the guiding principle of selfless love, the teachings of Jesus show us what right living truly looks like on the deepest practical and spiritual levels.

Jesus was thorough when he taught about his Way and how we can become his disciples. He covered everything from family and leadership to economics and non-violence. (See below for a short selection of Jesus’ teachings as well as a link to another site which contains a more exhaustive list of what Jesus taught.)

So what do you need to do in order to start following Jesus’ teachings and receive all the benefits that come with this radical lifestyle?

Well, what you don’t need to do is believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (If you find this offensive, please plug your ears and skip this paragraph.) You don’t need to believe that he was born of a virgin, died on the cross, and was raised after 3 days… You don’t even need to have much faith of any kind to start with (Mark 4:30-32).

All you need in order to follow Jesus and start receiving the benefits of this revolutionary lifestyle (e.g. freedom, a sense of purpose, miraculous provision, etc.) is a willingness to give his teachings a try. Genuine faith almost certainly follows this little lifestyle experiment. It’s really that easy.

Now, we’ll list a few teachings of Jesus to give a general feeling for what he taught… but there are a lot more than what we have here! For a more complete list, please click on this link.
